Accessibility statement

The short version

  • We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use ArtLine3D on their own.
  • The site is built to the Israeli Standard IS 5568 and the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.
  • The round accessibility button in the bottom corner of every page changes the text size, contrast, font, spacing and motion.

1. Our commitment

ArtLine3D is an online service that turns photos into 3D-printable wall art. We see accessibility as part of the product: every visitor should be able to find information, create a project, buy credits and download their files, with any device and any assistive technology.

We work to meet the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, the Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.0, level AA), and the newer WCAG 2.1 at level AA.

2. What we have done

  • Keyboard: every page and tool works with a keyboard alone, in a logical order and with a clearly visible focus. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing on every page. Dialogs keep the focus inside them, close with Esc and return you to where you were.
  • Screen readers: pages are built with headings, landmarks and lists; buttons, fields and icons have names; images have text alternatives (decorative ones are hidden); progress, errors and results are announced.
  • Colour and contrast: text and controls meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios in both the light and the dark theme, and colour is never the only way information is shown.
  • Zoom and small screens: the site adapts to phones, tablets and computers, and keeps working when the browser zooms in.
  • Motion: slideshows have pause, previous and next buttons. Nothing moves by itself when your device asks for reduced motion or you choose “Stop animations”.
  • Languages: the whole site is available in English and in Hebrew (right to left), and the page language is marked for screen readers.

The round button with the accessibility symbol, at the bottom corner of every page, opens a menu with:

  • Text size: normal, large, larger and largest.
  • High contrast, grayscale, underlined links, a readable font and wider text spacing.
  • Stop animations: stops slideshows, moving 3D previews and other motion.

Your choices are saved in your browser and apply to every page until you reset them. The menu works with the keyboard and screen readers, and together with your browser’s and system’s own settings (zoom, dark mode, reduced motion, screen readers).

4. Known limitations

We keep improving the site. These parts are not yet fully accessible, and we offer an alternative for each:

  • 3D previews (the models you can rotate) are visual. What they show is also given in text, and every model can be downloaded as a file for your slicer.
  • Choosing filament colours in 3D Paint is by nature a visual task. Every colour also has its name and colour code in text, and presets can be used without judging colours by eye.
  • AI-made pictures of your own photos have a general text description, not a detailed one.
  • Checkout takes place on the page of our payment provider, Dodo Payments, whose accessibility we do not control. If you cannot complete a payment, contact us and we will help.

The site was checked with automated WCAG tests (axe-core) on every page, in English and Hebrew, in the light and the dark theme, and by hand with the keyboard in Chrome. Testing with more browsers and screen readers continues; please tell us about anything we missed.

ArtLine3D is an online service only: there is no physical office or shop open to the public.
